Setting up the board

Serial ports

The board is supplied with a serial cable. You will need to unscrew the top of the box to plug it in. You MUST have a MALE 9 pin D type connector, a female will not work. Some of the early shipments of the board were shipped with the wrong connector. If you have a female connector you will have to replace it with a male. You will also need a null modem cable to plug into the male connector. Ensure that you put the IDC header on with pin one in the correct place.

EMI Config

EMI config Standard
Boot script name mb424
Extra parameters -d 2 -e "NO_TAP_CTRL"

Known problems

  • Board can get very hot
