STLinux Distribution 2.2 Manual
|
|
The manual for the STLinux Distribution 2.2 is divided into
the following guides:
The STLinux distribution run on a host Linux PC. Normally this
would already be available, although we briefly describe
a typical installation process. This is then followed by the
installation of the STLinux Distribution itself. Once these
steps have been completed, you're ready to go.
These pages are designed to help you get a Linux system up and
running on ST40 hardware as quickly as possible. It is only one way to
do it (there are many others!), and it assumes that you are using target
hardware which is already supported. However even if this does not describe
where you want to be eventually, it is probably a good exercise to gain
familiarity, and get you started.
These pages provide simple tutorials on using the STWorkbench IDE with
STLinux.
A worked example of how to port the Linux kernel provided as part
of the distribution to a new board.
A guided tour around the STLinux distribution
A collection of howtos: useful information for users
of the STLinux Distribution.
Information for programmers writing software which will run
on the STLinux distribution.
Details of all boards supported by the STLinux distribution, and
information specific to running Linux on them.
Other documentation on this site which you might find useful include:
-
The boards pages which give a description of
each board we support Linux on.
-
The STLinux distribution 2.0 release notes.
