Getting Started Guide
The Installation Guide described how to prepare an x86 PC as a development workstation for generating a Linux system to port to an STMicroelectronics System on Chip (SoC).
This guide describes how to generate the target Linux system, and how to install this system onto the SoC.
Selecting the kernel
A set of pre-built kernels are supplied with the RPMs in the distribution. If you want to make changes to the kernel, then you will need to build your own kernel from the sources. This is most easily done by using the kernel RPM. For more details see Building the target Linux kernel in the Installation Guide.
