How to configure the distributionThe standard distribution includes a target root file system, which needs a small amount of customization once installed on the host. This is primarily localization and tailoring to the network environment, which may be different for each user. For example, the system running on the target board may need to know which timezone it is in, and where its DNS servers are. These parameters need to be set on a per-installation basis.

These customizations may be entered once, before the whole root file system is copied, or on an individual basis if multiple users have copies of the file system. Once you have carried out the customizations they can be tested as described in Testing the customizations.
