ALSA

ALSA (Advanced Linux Sound Architecture) drivers are now included in the kernel for the STm8000 and STb7100. These support PCM output through the on-chip and off-chip DACs. Currently there is no support for digital outputs.

For the STb7100 Mboard (mb411), various jumpers have to be set to enable sound output. See the mb411 boards page for more details.
