How to access information and support for the STLinux distribution:Release AnnouncementsNew releases of the STLinux distribution, updates and significant changes to the www.stlinux.com web site are currently announced via the stlinux-announce mailing list. Information concerning this list, including full instructions on how to subscribe to it, can be obtained here stlinux-announce Reporting bugs and requesting helpFor simplicity, we currently use Bugzilla to manage all support requests. This includes the reporting of suspected bugs as well as general requests for information and advice about the STLinux distribution. All bug reports and other support requests should therefore be made via the STLinux Bugzilla database. By entering bugs and support requests in this way into Bugzilla you will benefit from automatic mails informing you of any status change related to the issue you have raised. The Bugzilla database is publically visible and so reprents a growing and searchable knowledge base of information about the distribution. Note: requests reported via telephone or email cannot be properly tracked and managed and so, to help us to support you well, please report all issues you have via Bugzilla. Details of the STLinux Bugzilla system are provided here. Support ftp sitesIf you need to send significant quantities of data to STMicroelectronics as part of the exploration of a bug or other issue, it may be appropriate to use an ftp service rather than attach the data to a bugzilla bug. In order to support this, ftp servers are available in the US, Europe and Asia:
If appropriate, you may request to use this facility via bugzilla, STLinux support will advise you of the necessary user name and password to upload data to these servers by email. |
